"My mind, body and soul depleated, driven to it like hammer to nail,
And still i have not been defeated, by infectious disease and poverty -
An addiction that could be controlled, yet i am at it's mercy.
Beneath the surface - the walls cave in, My only sin
i feel it crawling beneath my skin, endure the pain -
Deep within the blood-red rivers, drowned in the flow of a crimson tide,
Washed in by the flood escaping steel tube walls.
Watching life through some1 else's eyes - flashing before you
Knowing all the truth's and how can people live such lies?
Which are few and far between - Scars hidden from prying eyes -
unseen and unheard. Their cries seem so distant, as they go unheard,
Like creeping mist through the silence of night.
Without warning - from the darkness, a great evil is unleashed -
Attacking every thought like a plague, worst fears brought to life -
A thousand nightmares swarming through your head,
like the inside of bee hives, all your bad dreams rolled into one,
Braincells being destroyed by paranoya and the beliefs of the manifestations
you've created.
Don't believe everything you see!
Don't believe everything you hear!
Don't believe everything you know!
Yet it all seems so real, these wild-eyed thoughts
better left hidden beneath the snow - blizzard across the acres.
No control over thoughts and emotions - true-vision held hostage by hallucinations,
Lack of control causing personalities to collide, no place to hide,
lost everything you turned to when u needed to confide.
A constant battle of the titans inside your head,
WELCOME to the disease there is no cure for........
Except in death - there's no escape from the mind!"
i know it still needs a bit of work.......i think it loses focus around the last paragraph "No control over thoughts and emotions"
