well...kk, for me, it depends on the type of track...If I just wanna spit sum real raw shit...then I prefer more of a mainstream-vibe kinda beat.
Swizz beats is real good for that stuff since he does Cassidy's beat's as he has the perfect beats for those types of tracks because he is a punchliner. 2 beats I'm workin on from Cass himself are "take it" and "Tic Toe"...grimey ass beat's you can just go crazy on.
For raw tracks...those guys in desert storm also have sum real nice sounds...Like Fabolous and Joe Budden...Instrumentals like "5 alarm blaze"(the rocky beat one) are real hot instrumentals.
If im spittin emotional stuff...I like Royce Da 5'9 beats...fits my style perfectly when I come with emotion...instrumentals like "Rock City", "Boom", "Scary Movie", "death is certain part II" are all real hot for spittin some real emotion too...I haven't really ventured into many artists in this category...since royce is holdin it down for me.
