Detention's a topic of which i'm not to well aware,
Because when i was at school, only one time was i there,
I got it for not doing homework, which i thought was little unfair,
But as for it's purpose, did it right me with a scare?
Did i feel i had to do right to avoid a repeat occurance?
Was it in actual fact, a worthwhile method of deterrance?
To be quite honest, I do indeed feel it wasn't at all,
Because i was there for 7 hours a day, so what's one more at school?
