when u first record, make sure the red clip lights on your preamp, or level meters on cool edit are lighting up.
youll get the best sound that way
lmao... if he askin that question i doubt he has a pre-amp.. ummm... the best thing for you to do ... is either give up... or save up all your allowence and pennys you find on the street, and use that to pay for studio time... they'll do all the work for you...
Instead of just recording with the mic directly in front of you ide try to put the mic closely to the side of your mouth, so theres arent any blows into the mic, that is a tactic i used before I bought my home studio....other than that, use the cool edit feature that increases the size of the audio file, and just cut out certain breathes you take between a line, and or just do whatever Blunt told you to do. You dont need to pay for studio time, you should just save about 250 bucks and purchase a Mixer and Condenser from www.musiciansfriend.com and then later on replace your soundcard with a recording studio card (sound card), they sale those on soundclick too a good one is $150...even though my mic costs 300 bucks and my mixer cost me 250..and my soundcard cost me 200, im 17, im sure you'll find a way :)
lmao @ all th bad advice in here. atleast alc did it on purpose. and dizdem good job @ wasting your money on a mixer when you couldve gotten a decent sounding preamp for that much
you can buy soundcards off soundclick??or is this dude drunk?
drunk or just retarded.
