I smelled the ocean air this morning but the beach is 120 miles away
Sunrise, noon, and dusk... for years now, Ive been saying 15 prayers a day...
I go thru these moments where I lose all my strength

I thought this was very nice, Lord line is one of favorite line
It had a lot of thoughts and emotions.

i kinda liked it im sorry but im gna bite it.
i wake up in the morning and step out on the balcony, smokin on a blunt crazy but the smell of ocean is all around me.
at first i thought its because the ocean is a couple blocks away, then i realized its the memory of the bodies that float after three days. smell is the strongest sense tied to memory,i remember the day i threw the duffle bag off the ferry.
three days later i was takin smokey for a walk, by the bottom of the peir i seen seagulls by the flock.
quickening my pace as i approached, i realized there was no body it was just a coach.
i look all around but theres nothing in sight, i pray lord protect me with your light, just help me make it through the night

im kinda faded so ima do what every rapper knows not to do and give up
