It was petrifying my first time, but I count myself lucky because others have experienced hallucinations. Far as the self-exploration thing goes, yeah I looked it up the first few times it happened years ago and I don't ever recall "feeling" anything when I'm in the dream. I'm just dreaming and I'm seeing a bunch of secret rooms, floors, and a long, winding, staircase in the middle of the floor that leads up to something I don't ever see. Also, whenever I revisit the dream it's eerie how these details stay the same. Like the winding staircase (Never lived in a house with one) in the middle of the floor I've seen a couple of times, and just the general layout.
On the subject of wet dreams, they're amazing when you abstain for long periods of time. That shit becomes more lucid and realistic the longer you go without porn/etc, and actually orgasm. I'll leave it at that. Highly recommend.
