Of revolution rampaging through the heads
Of the dispossessed
Of Vietconged coffins draped
In Stars and Stripes burning
Of ferocious eyeballs gorging themselves
On protest and assassination
On the outskirts of Watts - a looted planet
Cut from a ritous womb
By midwives with soiled hands
Vengeful memories
Seditious seeds planted in the first breath
Raised in a playground of gutted lots
Torchedout buildings
By mobs with exploi-gangsta flick leanings
A criminal virus stealing through the brains
It started with "Operation Ripp-off"
Where we'd walk into the market as children
But walk-out thieves
Kids playing crime-a bored game
Arson, Thefts, Assualts gave birth to
Rapes, Robberies, and Murder
Ceasarean births
Always the blade Cutting, Sticking, Poking, Slicing
Collecting victims like baseball cards
Until they caged us reporting
We were fullblown rabid dogs foaming at the soul.
Tried like men by idolators in blackened cloaks
Whores of rockhewn blind Bitch PIMP
Nicknamed "JUST US"
Miming racial epithets
Spreading stiff sentences
As if they were S.T.D's

Now when my tears have become
Ironbars rusted shut
And I have paid America's ransom -
A bundle of years -
I hear quilt crackling
Like flaming sticks.
Ice casing of my conscience Melting.
Justifications, m-gilled, by doubts, Leaking -
Mangled beasts in the vigorous beat
Of the heart of Death Grunting.

Shame festers my emotions
Infecting instincts
Long the domain of entrenched lies.

I jerk my mind from Left to Right
Trying to forget
But the moral code embedded in my DNA
Rebels in the pit of my belly
Fall on my face repent in the memory of humans wronged
Feel the notching
Of their raucous silence
Mark my shadow
Etheric messenger Destined
For the presence of God
To be judged on the day
When, the prophets claim,
"The heavens will be rolled up like scrolls..."
And the dead walk right out of their graves.

fooookin 'elllll!!!!.....this was raw and powerful as fuk...i mean it went off at times....wasn't structured as well as it could have been...but damn, this was some hard hitting ish....i really felt what you were saying....know where you are coming from most definetly...and the ending was superb too....and oh yeah...it was a very cynical piece.....synickle by name, cynical by nature...(!!!)....but cynicism brings perspective to me...and i at times can right very cynical pieces too....(well theres quite a few pieces on here, which one way or the other, are cynical).....so its all good.....heavy piece....respect...
