the rode 120, the at2035 is like 130 so more of a direct comparison

ive got a nt1a sitting in my studio area and i really like the crispness it gives to my voice, also matter what kinda mixer....amp you got aswell.

NT1-A's are great mics. Low self noise, hot signal. Gotta love Rodes and Neumanns (TLM-103 if you got an extra $1000 laying around. lol) AT has some nice mics too. Since the NT1's and 2020's are pretty much entry level rodes and AT's, I'd go with the step up AT2050 for sure (agreeing with others). Get a good pre-amp :)
