stomping angrily aghast at where all her clothes were
And though her undergarments like stolen ghosts lurked
I was most hurt, going nowhere, and she was the chauffeur...
I think you're my favorite writer on RB at the moment. Probably because I see more pieces from you (here and PR), but anyway, this section was perfect technically, mechanically, poetically, ecetera. This was probably the dopest couplets I've read in a minute. Put in your sig type lines...and I'm serious. You have this uncanny ability to draw readers into your piece without coming off so...forced. I do it and I'm working on not doing it, but you got it down pack. The metaphor for april left with silence itself was creative and unique. I think your emotion overshadowed the simplicity of this content, which made it that much better. Honestly, this was a great read, Mav.

Re: April Left With Silence
The title grabbed me from the start. A band I like called Hopesfall actually has a song by the same title. The way you put this together was so multi-dimensional while coming off as a relatively easy read. To put complicated themes and emotions to something relatable is truly a gift man. I liked the sayings you flipped aswell, birds of a feather, etc. The tone matched the piece perfectly. What did it for me was the line "April left with silence on the first may" that absolutely killed it for me. I was almost stuck on that line and unable to move on it was so profound. Very nicely done. I've been a fan and this solidifies why I enjoy reading your stuff.
