It's finally here, the rematch we've been waiting for & the penultimate 1 or 2 matches of the tourney. Double elimination rules state that if Jack wins, there's a rematch. If Virb wins he takes 1st place.

We're going for 16 bars or 1080/12*16=1440 characters excluding spaces unless either of you wanna do more, entirely up to you. Given a bit of extra time to get your shit together. No pressure but if this battle's anything less than the most incredible shit we've ever seen everyone will be disappointed, might beat their kids and it will forever be what defines you.

Dope battle guys. I'm feeling the fact that the final is a multiple rounder since it feels like you both need to prove yourselves more that way. And also there was quite a bit of aggression, which seemed appropriate for a final too (although I don't give points for aggression as such).

Virb's intro bar was dope, especially after he made the random Unf bar work to say that Jack shouldn't have been in the final.
The Jack-it bar had really dope flow and was well executed.

The Huge Jack-man bar was awesome. I hadn't expected Wolverine to rhyme with that scheme so it caught me by surprise in a nice way.

The Halloween didn't quite land with me. Felt a little like "where is he going with this", and didn't get the resolution I was hoping for. Maybe it would have had more of an impact if Jack'll land tons and light-headed was right next to each other instead of getting lost a bunch of other rhymes.

Sock in his mouth like Mick Foley is Bigg K vs. Rosenberg Raw, btw.

Big fan of punking Jack for the soldier shit. Didn't know Bacharach, but dope bar.

(On a pedantic side note, the Taliban is in Afghanistan, not Iraq. Don't remember if Jack was in Iraq or Afghanistan, but if the mistake was made on purpose for the wordplay it's all good. It's not important for the bar anyway. And George Bush also conflated the two on purpose back in the day to justify the invasion of Iraq).

The PTSD infidel bar and the Fort Knox insecure one were also both dope. Also a good ender picking up on this I guess now infamous battle and subsequent beef between Jack and Knox, painting an arc over his whole career on the site.

Overall solid verse. Not a lot of drawbacks.


On Jack's intro, just screaming "YOU DUMB BITCH" in the context of some random angle seems a little over the top, but I also kind of see it as a live action battle, so it also adds some energy to it.

Right out of the gate Jack's dropping some heavy vocab. But I'm not feeling the regurgitation of the angle and the bar from the last battle. Don't know if I'm missing some memes about the ASUS laptop since Virb also mentioned it, but anyway, is the "pattern emerging" a double entendre on the logo of ASUS starting up or something, cuz otherwise I'm not feeling it.

The wordy style here is dope. But btw projection is a defense mechanism to project your own flaws onto others, so to harp on this fact once again.. See what I'm saying?

Treaty of Ghent is a dope reference with the explanation, but what does "call a knee" mean? Like taking a knee, or am I missing something?

Tea time bar was dope. And random as it was, the 7.62 bar landed really well and also had some ethos behind it with all of Jack's NATO bona fides.

Overall a pretty dope verse with some borderline stuff inbetween. It kind of had the momentum against it with what I thought was a bad way to start it, but it ended out well.

I'm tempted to just say Jack got it so we get the trilogy. After I read Virb's verse I was thinking Jack was gonna have a tough time keeping up, that was real step up from the last battle but Jack came for revenge big time. The worst thing about judging this is the style clash, it'd be easy if we were just voting on who was more technical or who had better jokes but both do different things really well. I voted draw last time but I’ve decided I can’t do that again, upon my breakdown I loved both verses equally, after I’ve broken it down like this I need to read them in their entirety as they were meant to be and my first thought is this is fucking final worthy I was worried you both blew your load on each other last time out but my fears were unfounded and you two are both fantastic writers - both has an effortless way of throwing multis, strong vocab and polished wording all tied together with creative angles. There’s not much separating these verses but to me my deciding factor is that virbs was slightly more complex where was jacks was a bit more direct and I tend to prefer that as I find a battle is about dissing your opponent first and foremost and he executed it perfectly

First of all, the requirements of this site is to participate in online, text driven battle rap culture, in whatever way. And not, as you seem to be demonstrating, to have your legal guardian continuously humiliate your online persona of choice while you drool in a wheelchair.

That means: If you read a text battle, that is even a final in a tournament, and that needs votes, and if you have no conflicts of interests or cite other meaningful excuses, but on the contrary write several paragraphs of random bs vaguely related to it, then you are pretty much also obliged, if for nothing else than common courtesey, to give a vote, even if you skip any meaningful, in depth analysis or feedback.

Second of all, while I'll admit that your thrift store musings were somewhat creative, your assumption of my age did not make any sense, since all 23 year olds in developed countries, outside of the United States, can read, and admission to academia of any sort, once again outside the U.S., require literacy.

But just so we are not talking past each other, any qualified literacy does not entail reading all sorts of random things that the human species might have produced. After the invention of the printing press in 1454, many things about three eyed fish and other ridiculous, superstitiuous phenomena were colported, because the written word is nothing but an extention of the human mind, and as such only holds value in relation to the general integrity of it's authorship.

In other words: I dont, as a rule, read slander magazines or romance novels or far right conspiracy theories or prolonged homophobic rants on the internet, because through the synthesis of quantitative experience, I can judge those things to be of no value before engaging with them.

I believe his claims at the end of the trailer where he says he let Jack & Virb smash his bitch so he's deffo on some freaky shit, not in a bad way, it's just a part of viking Danish culture.
