In this thread, one our beloveed mods, who I'm going to allow to remain anonymous, broke one of his own rules in a Front Lines text battle by dropping 6 lss bars than his opponent. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if he dropped first BUT... He dropped second. Now, I understand RB loves their mods and has a legit motto trending.. that stats, and I quote, Mods > Battlers.. or at least in the case of FL. The exact rule for this matter states, and I quote..

So what should happen? Should the MOD be able to just bend the rules for himself, knowing another mod won't have the heart to DQ him?

AT dropped the FL minimum 10 to prevent from being dq'd... giving himself a disadvantage is a dick move, but not illegal... anyone that's been in leagues will tell you... not common, but often enough, people have dropped less 2nd due to time... sometimes the 1st person edits their verse to be cordial... sometimes they don't... in other words...

First of All AT already DQ'd himself. Second the rule is obviously written poorly and it wouldn't be an issue if you guys weren't on a "OMG the mods are unfair because they banned our buddy" campaign This happens all the time And no one says shit, and if it's not YOUR battle you should butt the fuck out unless you see someone biting or breaking a MAJOR rule. this was a small infraction and if the opponent didn't have a problem you shouldn't.

Well he can not have his cake and eat it too. If he is breaking a rule and he feels this strongly about them give hm the punishment for those rules no questions asked. He is obviously an expert on the rules so you should assume any rule he breaks is intentional and is done maliciously and with a blatant disregard for the rules.
