I do not mean to seem like a hater but I personally don't like this whole audio box's a bunch of rappers/singers are doing now. I mean it was cool when T-Pain did it, but now Wayne...Kanye...not feelin' it. To end on a positive note, "Amazing" on the album is a good track!
Hmm, I like 808's... I'll definately play it more than Graduation when it comes down to it. I don't like auto shit but I like 808 CD... dunno why. It's good.

I don`t think he was tryna "better Graduation". He was goin` left field with this shit. And I sample the new T-Pain. It has some dope songs on it. But I rather listen to this than that. I've listened to it a lot over the weekend, and after now liking it at first, it's a nice ass album. Better than the majority of shit released, even with that auto-tune shit.
Went and actually bought it today, and he has the lyrics in the little album book or w/e the fuck it's called.. which is something I haven't seen in an extremely long time.
^ but I do agree w/ Cry and most of the others, Graduation and his earlier albums were still nicer imo, prolly because they're more hip-hop

Like I said, the only thing I like about it is the production value. And even that is hit or miss. He said himself he just thru this shit together. He's happy that it sounds half-assed.

Kanye has been hanging out with bands like Justice and Daft Punk who actually do original "off the wall" type music so he thinks he can do the same thing. And maybe he can. But all he did here was make spacy beats and sang poorly written R&B lyrics into a machine that tries to hide the fact that you can't sing. Where's the originality? Where's this new genre he thinks he's created? What has he come up with that's new and fresh and hasn't been done many times before?
Don't make it sound like I'm hating Kanye for doing a pop album or not doing a rap album. I fuck with Kanye. And I listen to ALL music. This is just bad music.

I'm not bored with rap. But I don't let myself be bombarded with wack music until I don't even like the genre it comes from anymore. That's why I haven't listened to the radio or watched videos on BET and MTV for years. Good rap albums are so few and far between, I get excited when one drops.
I can't wait for the new Common to drop. It's gonna be fire. I heard some of the material at his concert last month.
