In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mortus
In the End, Everything's in Blood
(Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., Baron P. Mortuus)
Narrator:
"In the early depths of time, death was prime,
soon you will find, the plead from mankind"
Johnny 6-Feet:
The chant starts, dark hoodies mark the ring of the cult
A circle of satanists, heads bowed, sing insults
Against whatever's good, pure and holy:
"Someone unfold me!
I'm tied up against this altar, petrified and lonely!"
The leader in red robes, in his eyes a speck glows
Of hatred of all life, his clammy skin is stretched, cold
He throws his head back, firelight catches his bold dome
A sacrificial knife in his hand, made to send my soul home
"Mueren, Mueren, Meuren! Fur Los Illuminados!
Te voy a hacer picadillo!"
This power comes at a cost
He steps forward armed raised, the girl stifles a shriek
Gunshots ring in the silence, and he twists, blood leaks
The followers look to the balcony, this soldier stands ready
Metal shards tear through their ranks, he keeps his hands steady
They flee in an instant, as he drops to the ground
"Es hora de rezar!"
He says "Do not make a sound.
I've been sent to rescue you, i'm an goverment agent
The president sends his regards."
"My father?"
"That's the arrangement.
Come on let's get the out of here, no need to shout in fear,
There's a chopper deployed westwards from this hemisphere
I'll protect you Ashley."
"I've got no doubts that you could
But first, tell me, why did this happen?"
"Because in the end, everything's in blood."
Narrator:
"From midevil periods, these evil blood spillings
Chills trickle down the spines of many included in the killings"
Maven.:
the sun rose early today and I was already exhausted;
one who'd surely decay from rays steadily toxic
to my pale skin that's been so for five hundred years
of redundant tears for friends who deserted my fears
with jeers about garlic and that whole Christian thing
wishing I could see the future in an omniscient ring,
but I can't-
and there's only one release in my enslavement
to drain necessary evil from where arteries save it
I indicate that it's a livelihood; survival instinct
exists where feelings would, but were, on arrival, missing
and ever since I can remember it's been life without death
caused by hunger to dismember kids and stifle their breath
younger and younger they get, but that's only in relation
to my immortal station inflicting endless trepidation
and captivation of cults and pop-culture analysts
who make a living wondering if I really exist
but the question is not whether I do, it's whether I should
bother with existence when in the end...
...everything's in blood.
Narrator:
"Everything and everyone is found guilty
Blood stains and dried blood making everything filthy
And even now, its still occuring daily with fury
Proven true, by the verdict of the jury."
Baron P. Mortuus:
I was trotting down Maypole road, shadows
gathering around the surrounding meadows
walking past café’s selling molded croissants
rash driving knocking down dominos- poignant
with nougat treats treating my throat with sweet
sugar coated beads & walnuts spreading first
in my mouth then falling on the street dirt
then searing heat tendrils grabbed at my trachea
coughing up blood- I dropped the products in fear
steered to the side to lie down & abide instructions
got myself in a safety position, listing all obstructions
functions of bodily parts in conjunction to start
a fight against the walnuts that cart towards my heart
a simple treat, delicacies tripped by an allergic thud
strip the events & conclude everything’s ended in blood
Narrator:
"These stories ring a bell, becasue we are in a living hell
Singing gun shots fling, bloody pavement, giving help
to being real in our minds, as they unwind we find
there is no way to hide, besides impersonating the blind.
We don't see these things, they are thoughts of madness
believing this all honestly, up until sad shit happens."
Jonathon:
Wearing green on St. Patricks day, proudly, but sadly
I miss my family, its my anniversary, how bad could a dad be?
Two sons and a daughter, many miles across the water
Sent off to leave them, to here, for me to slaughter
Many calibers ripping at my tent, malicious creatures galore
Urban cement sets a scent of doom, I miss my features before
This war, I now live my life in horror, my eyes are sore
From crying, trying to live life to the fullest but its ending short
This must be some sort of evil, we fight for the flag & eagle
How can so many things can be bad, but being killed can be legal
So many friends and people, blood dripping from bodies
Unidentifiable men, lay there, here, everwhere with bags bodied
Souls lost, but not forgotten, or so we think at least
Sounds of shots buzzing won't decease, as if an invincible beast
Was the metaphor, but its killed before so it must be alive
Its not a game anymore, its playing with your will to survive
Or you'll just be with your friends, clinging to the mud
...until in the end, when everything's covered in blood.

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
this was ambitious...
it's late and I'll come back to it.
4 different takes + 4 different styles = 4 different pieces
but I read it.
and kudos for getting acts together enough to put it out there.

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
okay okay, yall on some epic shit. This was dope as fuck. Everyone pulled their weight on this one and came with it. It was nice to see the different approaches and styles all mesh together in this, Jonathan had the emotion - felt that like a mutha fucker, Baron had the Meta's as always, Mave came with all that fucking depth, and my nigga Johnny opened up with that story-telling shit he does so good. This was all together greatness right here. All of you have to do it again sometime
definatly
One.

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
Johnny
i loved your take to this man, the soldier going in to save this girl and the miniture convo with here throughout your drop add's interest and emotion by it'self, the vocabulary was the perfect fit for the style and setting of this piece, i enjoyed the imagery in how you explained what happened, the emotion was good also , nice drop dude
maven
i enjoyed your take also, yet explain this if im wrong your was about a prisoner who's been enslaved for o'so long and is never getting out so he question's his exsistence and why he excists anyways if he isn't aloud to enjoy his freedom or even have a meaning for breathing or living if all is to be a prisoner....speaking of his people all around....meh im a dumbass if that's wrong, but yeah was digging the imagery and emotion dude, but mostly the beautiful vacabulary you used in this was nice touch
pakavelli
ummmm dude was your about a allergic reaction didn't quite understand to how your's fit in to all of this, but all in all cool stuff bruh i really didn't get your flip to the piece sorry because i doi enjoy your work so much, the imagery was still nice, vocabulary excellent as usual although made the part hard to understand, and good wordchoice
Jonathon
your's was the story of an everyday present life american mainly consisting of father's leaving behing theire loving families to go overseas and fight a war, and i thought the emotion was dope how you explained (father) looking around and seeing the havoc of the war, friends and feelow comrad's dead around you, and at the same time your fighting/you are also thinking about your family at home, not so deep f a vocabulary but wasn't needed in this kind of a piece
OVERALL
nice drop's from all 4 of you this is definately HOF material and jonathon thanks for linking me to read this shit it's definately a dope drop man and it was very interesting to read on such real shit of 4 different lives/backround's/and situations-PEACE

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
ayo this was one of the dopest pieces ive ever seen.......i mean you got 4 different styles and 4 different stories but it all equals 1 good dope piece.....
i read this piece and i could see the imagery the emotion and all that shit......
this is better than "the end of the world" and in my opinion that was a pretty dope piece...but this one just killed that one.......you guys are deffinitly good when it comes to writin topicals with imagery...............i need to become as good as you guys or somethin...........but overall i give this piece a 20/10

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
I liked this piece. Although, i didn't really feel it fit together.. i mean there were some connections but not enough. I thought that Johhny 6 came beautifully with imagry, mavens had good word choice/description, Baron's was thought provoking and Jon's was rugged and emotional. Overall, solid drop.. i would of liked to see more a storyline here, but the collage of seperate stories made it a good read.
Stay up, peace
..and if you have time cheak out my piece, The Rye Sling

Re: In the End, Everything's in Blood -Jonathon, Johnny 6-Feet, Maven., & Baron P. Mo
great read guys. i think this will make the HOF. i can't see any reason why it shouldn't. this has been broken down quite well by some respected heads so i will keep mine fairly short. i liked everyones. all the takes were different which made this an excellent read, especially with Jonathon narrating as well as he did. johnny, you have always been one of my favorites, if not my favorite and you didn't dissipoint here. great work and you are king with the story. maven, yours was good and your style is great, you took a rather religious and seemingly more epic approach to this matter then the others. i must admit it took me a couple reads to clearly get yours, but that was some indepth shit. i dug the hell out of it. big B, you shifty bastard, you almost had me confused, but then the brain kicked in. i really like how he died. kinda ironic that the title was everything ends in blood and your dude chokes. i know that there was some bleeding in there, but i think that you may have also taken the approach that the title could be a metaphor for anything terrible. not just death by blood loss. it made me step back and look at this from an angle i wasn't expecting to view. jonathon, dope. i liked yours the most and don't take that likely, you are writing with the big boys on this piece. it was a typical setting and an idea that has been around the block more then my ex dame, but your emotion was spectacular and i felt what you were saying and believed it. anytime i actually feel for somebody it's dope. the first couple lines drew me in and i never looked back... overall this was an amazing piece. kudos to all HNR stand up. this should get into the HOF.
please return the favor ya'll

J6F: Loved your take on the topic and the story line brought out with it. I felt you came as one of the ebst in this collaberation. Even as all four peices were incredible. Your rhyme choice and placement made it a great read. Keep it up dude.
Jonathon: By far one of the best I've read from you dude. Incredible come with the topic. Your Imagenation was amazing and it was the heart of this peice. I felt with out your iamgenation this wouldnt have been as Imagenary as it was. Nice job dude.
Maven: First peice I've ever read from you man, and I was impressed by it. Your constint rhythm was great. And I felt it was very needed. I could have read all the other verses and been happy with my rad. But your verse made me excited with it. keep it up man.
baron: Baron, Baron Baron.. So creative and so well as putting your words where they are suppose to be at. I really felt this was the best beggining of the end in a peice I've ever read. So imagenative, so wordy. So..you. I loved it man, and I'm happy you collabed with me. Keep it up.
Overall: Incredible peice, you all had your own come with it. You all had a great verse. Very creative. HoF worthy.
