slowly.. the grasp of lifes purpose falls before the paper
ink flowing.. half of this white surface will grow greater
and dig deeper then the steel tip that lets the black drip
poem's feature a real trip.. more emotion than you can deal with
invision the imagery as your artistically drawn to these lines
a mission was sent to me.. to finish off this greed and break through confines
words beneath this skin.. tattoo's of tears across this chest
hurts to breathe again.. statue's of fears are lost in breaths
let me hold your eyes in each bloody palm i'm left with
stars through the sky.. teach something in every poem i'm posesed with
damage the canvas and the colors shine through black skies
at random this phoenix's cries will echo.. and from ashes i'll rise
twist meanings and flip demons into mental freedom
leave season's for no reason.. carry on to the sea's deep end
unleash your thoughts wings.. let you wonder beyond normal things
directing the sickest scenes.. unlacing the stiches from seams
open your scalp.. pour this hatred into your faceless head
feeling left out?? i'll place more sensations in your sacred bed
hands on experience.. stand on my furious pages and sages will return
lessons learned after confessions burned.. slowy you embrace this poetry
chase the grief.. seek the seat next to me.. watch me bend the symmetry
warp each sheet around your decaying form.. warm your cold soul
let the agony grow old.. while happiness is born..

Embrace the droplets that rain lord’s pain upon my brain
I feel his hands delve into my membranes inking up stains
Linking up maimed guilt that’s cogently driving me insane
Mains adapter of my CNS is discharged with it all attains
Former legend to fallen poet listing off metaphorical games
Shames as such that force home contempt, my ink drains…..

I dip the quill with the blue blood of past scriptures recycled
Pictures cycled through my head, Susie dead in her little bed
A daughter now a spectral saunter I didn’t mean to taunt her
Or daunt her; busy with wordings I never had the simple luxury
To breathe a moment completely but I couldn’t sheathe poetry
Complete a quilt each inked with images of a family in joy
I remember dancing with Joanna & bringing Susie her first Toy
But now I have a quill to embrace & an inkpot to create kisses
My pen misses crucial notes of issues, the falling tissue hisses
It talks to me to forget the dynasty I disassembled without care
I get up & glare in the mirror a wild yet worn man reflects my stare

Will justice be given or will crooks use the monetary might

wel i liked the way sonny hit the topic up better both were defentily dope but sonny came with sick multis and imagery i just think sonny droped a doper topical in this plus he had pics which helped already superb imagery

I liked how X plict grasp the topic and intertwined all of ink's purposes into it...great shit. your emotion was aiight and seemed to pick up at the end. the rhyme scheme was crazy. multi usage was great and it made it flow well as I read through. imagery was cool yet could have been better.
Sonny had a more in depth version of how ink played a role throughtout life and how the pen could determine your fate. I felt that sonny had a more emotional piece and his structure was great and the pic placement was different which served imagery purposes well. aside form that I felt that this was the best of the two so Vote = Sonny

I liked sonny verse better.
Reason being:
The verse is a lot more in depth, the struc is nice, the flow is good, the creativity is nice, especially with the drip, drip, drip, and all. The piece was more emotional like forum said, multi's was good was and the imagery was nice, overall a better piece than Xplicit. No hate just my opinion.

real good drops @ both but there hasto be a winner so....
aight X came with a sick verse his multies n imagery ws the shit the structure was nice and had very few flaws the vocab was good too... just not good enough to beat the near perfect verse that sunny dropped same thing for sunny ^ there everything was sik too it was just better...it looks like sunny came with more emotion and i liked his structure more....the drip drip shit was tight.

Damn! Xplict, you really underestimated your opponent here. I mean damn, evev i was surprised. Xplct, your piece would have been better if longer. The imagery was there, and the emotion was somewhat strong.. but not everything was all there like you usually have in your last pieces. Sonny, surprising here. Content is what won you this battle. Everything else was meh', but besides that.. Nice battle. No hate dude.
