but hey all those years r over and this one is for my mom

Raising me from birth, and taking me in with a loving heart
Not like some mothers who see there kid then slowly depart
Even if sometimes you weren’t there, your presence was surely felt
I could talk to you about any situation no matter what hand I was dealt
But it hurt when I was around 8, seeing you leave broke my intent
Did you not love me anymore, all of those memories, where had they went
So for days I cried myself to sleep, not knowing what I had done
I didn’t know it wasn’t my fault and my life without both parents just begun
It started off hard, but I learned quickly and I began to grow up fast
Knowing that seeing my family together and happy was just a thing of the past
I knew my from that day, standing in the driveway at the tender age of 8
That my life had changed dramatically and this was my unchangeable fate
Moving on was hard of course, and I hoped I would see you return
Like a child waitin for his parent to return from a war, my heart had concern
But as the days turned to weeks, months turned to years, I finally understood
That this wasn’t my fault, but how could God Punish me if I only did good
Seven years later, I’m still missing you dearly; times to see you aren’t long
But ever since that day I became a man and my heart grew strong
Knowing you’ll never see a High School football game that I play
Looking into the stands to see nothing, but somehow I pray
Somehow I kept my head high, brighter days to come is all I could think
The only way to take the pain away was to write down poems enlaced with ink
Ever since I witnessed you and dad argue and fight I promised myself that day
That I would treat my girl right and never hurt her in any kind of way
I also made another promise, something just as big and as true
That I would stay with my wife and watch our kids develop as they grew
Cause I know that’s what hurt you, not seeing me mature like a piece of life taken
Not knowing what you have right now, cause this material joy has us forsaken
But through the rain and pain, im going to keep my promises in sight
Cause I never want my child to experience the pain I felt when you left that night
I broke down, thought about if I caused it, what I didn’t do to help its process stop
Imma always be there for my kids and wife and never let there heart drop
With my wife, she will never be treated wrong, im always remaining true
She’ll always have a happy home, emotions wont lie back in a corner subdue
What you instilled on me in that day that you left, was something I never knew
I found out that you loved me all along and that my heart was always with you
What I’m trying to say is thank you, even without your presence, I learned a lot

this was a real good piece
i felt alot of emotion in this piece
espically from U.S.P. his was da best
da Ja And l00kz ya verses was good too
but U.S.P. had max emotion
it flowed real good, and had flawless wordplay

This piece is a perfect example of what this rap shit is all about.......The piece contained imagery, vocab was on point, emotions poured out....along with truth and real life situations...and for a collab I felt that each drop went together perfectly.....I mean this shit was so inspiring I even had to let my MOM read it and she thought that it was good (she thought I did it But I didn't take ya'll props).....Keep up the GOOD WORK.....It's piece's like this that keep O-M alive.......GOOD SHIT FAM!!!!

this was a cool collab. topic was deep, for real, and ya all had the emotion on high.
lOOk$, your flow is a short one, but it works pretty nicely for most of the verse. had nice lines in there, alot of meaning to them, and your rhymes were simple, but pretty effective with the emotion. could have made it a bit lengthier though

Eazy, your verse had a nice flow, you kept it up through the verse, but slipped like, once, but it didn't do anything to the verse. ya rhymes were cool, had some alright vocab in there, and they weren't too basic.

last, but definetely not least, U.S.P. ya came the hardest on this track. flow was tight, ya lines weren't too short or too long, the flow was on point the whole time. your vocab was cool, and your rhymes were reall effective with the structure. the emotion was dope, definetely

Your's was simple and short and to the point. a lil emotion shown and the words weren't complex at all and it felt like u didn't get in depth so truth be told i didn't enjoy yours and it was very easy to forget.

Ja Eazy:
Better than the first one, but had stretched lines and your last 2 lines didn't rhyme. u got a little more in depth tho but still it could have been way better. something i found extremely corny was how you are basically telling your mom "like tupac said, your appreciated"... like who says that to their mom?... is your mom even a tupac fan?... so yeah what im sayen is try not sayen "like tupac said" type shit, say what you feel in your own way, it's how u work on creativity.

U.S.P.:
You got in depth the most so ur emotion was felt the most in this piece. Best verse in the open mic but still lines were stretched and rhymes were too simple. This also could have been way better.

Overall you all gotta work on vocab and rhymeschemes. The presentation/structure was cool but felt stretched for ja and usp. look$ was the only one that flowed well but his context was the worse with the least emotion. So you all gotta find that balance and get more complex... like many of the phrases used in this piece were cliche, overused and shit... for the most part i got that dear mama vibe from it which really doesn't sound right unless it's pac. so u guys gotta be way more original.
