I liked the concept of the spotlight "beef" battles builds up tension and added fire power from personals already posted in the chat thread
We can do that, but they will be limited to 10 lines max. I need people to show for their battles every week.

Suggestion- quit being so desperate. The bitching and moaning is very off-putting.
Addition- make spots in this thing earned by qualification from the other battle sections. That's much more effective filtering than some bitch period-whining.
Improvements- Have who runs this act like this isn't the only thing in their life.

I have several things going on in my life, such as a successful career and a family. There's no desperation here, if this league doesn't step up and it becomes a tiresome mess to try and manage due to low activity or poor participation, it will get shut down. But if everyone comes in here with a better attitude than you and Bar, it should be just fine.
You never contribute shit anyway, so piss off.

When your tunnel-vision leads to the demise of the league, it will be due to your narrow plane of thinking. You are very green when it comes to putting a league in charge, and you are too thick-headed to accept this. If you weren't such an amateur, you'd realize the best way to get a league to thrive is to make it worthwhile to even be accepted into. Qualification processes. But you would rather beg and plead.
For the record, hiking is great fun. I may take your advice and go on one, as it is good exercise.

I don't recall begging anyone to join the league, the only thing I am doing is making sure everyone knows sign ups for Week 1 battles are closing tonight at 9:00pm PST.
I'm throwing good things in the League like prizes, etc not because I am desperate (why would I even care if it fails? This isn't my site stupid) but because I want to give the league a chance to be great at least one last season. After that, if someone else wants to run things, more power to them.
The beginning might have some people that won't cut it, but after 2-3 weeks the only one's active will be the people who really want it. It always works out that way, and I've seen multiple leagues with their "criteria" for getting in fail time and time again, because all you get is a bunch of egotistical homos who can't take a loss and start crying about it and sign out. Why? Because there's no motivation to win. I'm giving that motivation.
