People have Ben doing this for years I don't know why your trying to make out like slecht did something wrong.
People don't have to give him help, and people aren't obligated up vote for him.
If it makes you feel obligated don't help, simple as. Why do people feel obligated anyway? Do they feel like they made a friend and are scared to lose them?

You know, Emily has the online persona of a female. And she established a relationship of sorts with most of the notable writers on this website.
I noticed, no matter how mediocre or poor some of her battles/verses/poems were...people showed her love. I'm not saying she IS mediocre (I already know she'll somehow find this post and quote me, trying to tear my ass up and talk about my ego or something lmao), but I'm saying that SOME of her shit just isn't that good.
But yeah, I think it's because of that connection she was sharing with people. (also cause of the female thing, but mostly the connection thing).
So, when dudes get all buddy-buddy and send PMs and shit, it's manipulative because it influences people's perception of that individual. Instead of battles being bar vs bar; verse vs verse, or drops in PC being another poem to read, or drops in OM being another topical to read....it becomes, "OOOOHHH, MY NIGGA FROST JUST DROPPED A TOPICAL". vs. "Let's see what this topical is about"; the difference is that the writing begins to take the form of the character.
(This is why moderators who compete in their league, experience higher success than average. It's not a coincidence imo)
Not only all of that, but there's perks to PMing bars: you can explain your punch before you drop which gives someone previous exposure and knowledge on it, you can do a lil survey of sorts and see who is fuckin with it, you can use the other person to gauge how successful your bar is vs. the opponent's bar that they may have dropped already, etc...
But at the end of the day, it's just RB.. Let him do him. shit's kinda funny
