I was thinking this recently.

I'm gonna steal his star system, but make it consistent to my tastes. I feel like he's way too inconsistent with his votes.
If you say "decent" and give somebody 3 but then say "decent" and give somebody 4 -- there's some inaccuracy in what you're saying.

My 1/4 point system was based on the following:
1 = an attempt of a punch
1.5 = developing concept
2 = concept present, ineffective
2.5 = complete concept. almost a solid jab, pretty weak hit
3 = solid jab. word association lazy or the setup was irrelevant to punchline
3.5 = great bar, just missing cleaner execution; tighter phrasing, more accurate word association
4 = haymaker. everything on point.
