I would forgo the alcohol in this particular case.. it negatively affects even healthy vertebra as the spine requires hydration to float the discs properly, and alcohol is known to cause enough dehydration to the point it contributes to spinal issues (current studies are being done to determine the magnitude of this effect)

Also, alcohol causes several key vitamin deficiencies which slow muscles recovery and reduce function, neither of which is good for you nck & back right now.
