Not saying those are the top 5 players ever (particularly KD) but his skill set meshes better than someone like Kobe (RIP) who’s too redundant with MJ stylistically.

Yeah. Pretty much. There's a few writers that use their pieces as metaphor to put their opponent in a story or to talk about their opponent but most writers just aim to write the better topical piece. I have a topical battle in front lines for example.
