You get grants and scholarships, there is African American colleges. NAACP ect.. I haven't heard of these things till I got here. This upset me knowing I couldn't get this kind of help where I was from. If I could there was nothing to tell you about it. It is highly advertised and you have a lot of fellow brothers/sisters in positions to help guide you. Where I am from its not common. Joog'n don't use the weak ghetto excuse, a lot of them chose that route. Yes, im aware growing up in a section 8 housing leaves you with little choice at times. But not everyone from the ghetto sold crack and got shot as you implied. Some did make something of themselves without turning down that path. and I do respect your opinon, sir.

Those things u mentioned like naacp, were necessary to put us on equal footing.
