I am severely disappointed in the outcome of this week. There has been more no shows than battles. So as such after voting on the only battle in this week, the league will be placed on hold and I am officially resigning from modding this. I thank those who put the time and effort to try and make this happen each and every week, from the bottom of my heart I really do appreciate it. I thank you for letting me mod it for the time I did but I can't run a league with one battle a week and seeing this trend starting with the preseason tourney to now tells me what I am doing is not good for this section of RB and that's what matters most as a topical writer and competitor.

I don't understand this, is King Prince battling HEC or Nigma? The title says Chief but when i click on the battle it says Prince vs Nigma. I also don't see Engine Chief's verse.

It just seems like a lot of great material has been packed away over the years. Personally, I go back into the archives and read old battles sometimes. Mostly it's to see how steep the competition was at any given time or season. I just feel like it would be so much easier if we immortalized certain verses or battles that made a huge impact on the league or season. But ultimately I suppose it's no big deal.
Yeah, I really wanted to battle L.E. too. Unfortunately, by the time we started matching up I was already burnt out and busy as fuck. It just never came together like it was suppose to. It would have been an epic clash, BUT...I would have won. LOL. Defeat was never an option.

I remember there being like 3 different blacks on here and RIA, but I was never sure which was which or if all three were the same. I think I remember a Chris Black, Mr. Black, and Blacketh(?). All three were insanely dope. I'm guessing it's all the same guy.

There needs to be more organization on here and someone has to go through the archives to nominate SS HOF battles, Legendary battles (if there is any)
But like you said, it's not a big deal anymore. we can preserve 2014 on forward, but 2012 and back is a lost cause pretty much at this point. which is unfortunate, but i suppose the main thing people want to do is have a space to write and share their writing.
And you and L.E are in my Current Top 5. I think you'd beat him because of the enjoyability and emotion and style you have. you're like a more lyrical version of my old style. my flow was never that good back then, and since you have that you'd edge him, most likely, in every battle. I use to beat technical guys like L.E, 143 for example, based on creativity and my fun storytelling alone. if you read my champ battle vs. illuminate you'll see how animated I use to be compared to now.
Blacketh/Cognition/Mr. Black are all the same person. he's top 5 of all time def.
I'd say your battle vs. DEV is good, but I think DEV dropped the ball. your verse is OM HOF so if he had a similar caliber of a verse that'd be SS HOF.
Speaking of dropping the ball, I no showed you last season. you did very well in that battle too. you would have a lot of success if you were around when ThatKidCry, Chris Black, Enigvale, Blacketh and Oats were on. 2011 woulda been a good year of competition for you.
I've read all of these except for the battles with Ill and Black. So I'll check those out and let you what I think afterwards. In fact, I think I might just re-read them all in general. I'll get back to you, bro...Quote:
