this was MY opinion, in my opinion, music IS dying .. and i stated why in this piece, kids into hiphop now are after a beat to nod their heads too and a catchy hook to sing to - that isnt hiphop. To me, hiphop's what the artist has to say, his words, the emotion, the delivery, and how he can make you feel what is said - nothing can compare to that, and i see real hiphop heads who feel like me will start listening to more spoken word / poetry because thats the way forward, you'll see ..

DJing/producing is one of them (i know its not officialy producing but hey wtf im tryna maek a point) so basically emceeing is just a quarter of hip hop.

i see spoken word and poetry as hiphop still, thats where a lot of kids get my views twisted, i see hiphop as more than a clever beat and a hook, its about the writer, thats what i tried to catch here
