I wrote what I needed to in order to beat some stretched to death long bar nonsense that I recognized did not have an actual punch included in it. I consciously decided that. You don’t think I have better shit in the notes on my phone as I type this? I chose not to waste anything higher quality on that trash ass bar, because a punch should always beat a non-punch in a punchline league.

Clearly I underestimated how comically lost a couple people are when it comes to text battle analysis.

It's wild that he said he wrote what he needed to after reading the other guys bar and making it a conscious decision to drop his quality to what he thought was appropriate. Given that his whole entire argument at first was that it wasn't the case and that it wasn't fair that we said his writing was lazy. Pick a sob story to go with man. How's $pit gonna stand up for you as your lawyer later when you can't even stay consistent?

The fact my writing was “lazy” or not up to my full capability isn’t a justification for voting in favor of some shit that didn’t even have a punch at the end of it.

Which you acknowledged in your own vote by saying he attempted a punch. At what point do you simply acknowledge that voting for a terribly executed non-punch over a simple/humorous yet legit punch in a punchline league was just flat out bullshit lol.

At no point in time will I ever sign back into a league on this forum with votes like that occurring and still attempting to be rationalized days later. That shit exceeded subjective or reasonable interpretation of text battling punches, and what constitutes one. I won’t be a participant when that’s the type of shit going down.

I don’t give a fuck about wins or losses or my record in a league anymore. That’s why plethora dropped after the due date, then edited again hours later, in addition to pretty much feeding off my bar.. and I clearly stated I didn’t want any type of DQ. In the thread I said I should have dropped something he couldn’t have beat regardless. I could reasonably understand why he got more votes than me, and accept that.

I didn’t think MV deserved any votes against me last week cuz the setup was terrible and shit didn’t even rhyme, but I was like ehhh, at least there’s a punch that exists. I could accept a couple votes going his way.

However, there is absolutely ZERO chance a vote for what that FAQ dude dropped against me last week is justifiable. It ain’t about taking a loss. I was pretty sure I’d have ended up winning. But it’s about the principle of the shit. Line gotta get drawn somewhere when we got people clearly voting on dogshit that ain’t even a punch. I could give a fuck about losing in general. But I’m not dealing with voting that atrocious.
