tbh I know that Faq's bar has some text battle issues to it since it's more long bar but I felt his attempt at a punch via a nameplay was much better than the shockingly bad/tased concept. This battle could probably go either way with votes but I'm choosing Faq for this one (I'm a bit surprised myself).

Not exactly sure how to grade this. Fah Q had a cool bar, flowed well for the first bar, but got choppy at the end. The connections weren't bad, bare bones, substance, complex then a pretty easy nameplay. Not a bad bar

Lay came a little lazy, albeit if worded a little differently and it prolly would have been a harder hit. You prolly came up with this fairly quickly.

Tough call but layman's terms is one I've seen a bunch, it was stretched and punchline didn't stick out enough

Lay had a good turn of a phrase but lacked some wordplay that would have upped this bar. Faq was had a lot going on but the irony of the bar being complex and the actual punch worked for me.

You and Wordz can both try to rationalize it or cope however you want. I had the better overall actual text battle punch by a comfortable margin. There’s nothing you can say to make it not be an embarrassment of a vote.

Two separate set up lines, horrible wording and format, abysmal wordplay attempt (lame-man’s) which he then explained in parentheses, and then finally not even having a legitimate punchline at the end of that stretched ass muddled mess.

Those are all real things that transcend subjective analysis. They are objective issues with what he wrote and how he wrote it. There is a certain accepted element/criteria to this craft, and what constitutes an effective battle rap punch. I had one, while he did not.

You voting for that abysmally constructed long bar bullshit in the big 2025 is a testament to how lost and deluded you are when it comes to real analysis of battle rap bars. And it’s a legitimate embarrassment to RB and the history of it. Whether anyone else wants to come out and admit that or not.

The battle was not close. A clear winner and a clear loser within the constructs of a 1-2 punch league. Only a couple of retards of the highest order could manage to fuck that up, and still be quintupling down on it days later. You’re a pure cancer to the integrity of the artform of text battling. End of story.

I wrote what I needed to in order to beat some stretched to death long bar nonsense that I recognized did not have an actual punch included in it. I consciously decided that. You don’t think I have better shit in the notes on my phone as I type this? I chose not to waste anything higher quality on that trash ass bar, because a punch should always beat a non-punch in a punchline league.

Clearly I underestimated how comically lost a couple people are when it comes to text battle analysis.
