I haven't done that with PS4 tho ( I usually have to own an item for a few months before my carelessness kicks in)

But I had it on my lap, got up and forgot it was on my lap, it fell to the ground. After that I was playing and the gun would just keep shooting after pressed the trigger. Found out the axel snapped
