LLL Season XXIII - Chat/Predictions/Beef

Battles could go up Sunday morning, giving a lot of people a great day of the week to write their shit. Verses either due Wednesday night, or due Thursday night with a league-wide rule/policy of no extensions ever across the board. I personally like the latter option. Voting ends Saturday night/early Sunday morning etc. Which also gives people a good day to vote and breakdown verses.

All that time to vote is nonsense. If battles go up on a Monday at noon and verses are due Thursday at midnight, then that’s exactly 3 1/2 days to write verses and 3 1/2 days of battles just sitting there waiting for votes and to be closed. It’s pretty silly/absurd to have those two things be an equal amount of time in the week. Should be weighted in favor of actually writing/crafting high quality verses IMO.

@Blue Bayou thx for upping that @Resin M-I-C good battle bro, hope u liked the digging. I feel like a lot of ur past battles don’t exist anymore, I remember much more than they had on nc archive

@Lay Doubt. I don’t care when battles go up but people gotta have time to vote to. I wouldn’t be against having a bye week mid season for intermission also. To your point about having time, it’s not easy to find time if u trynna drop fire every week

Okay so even then, battles up Sunday morning and verses due Wednesday night. Although I still like Thursday with zero extensions, as Friday and Saturday is still two full days to get your votes in.

I think having battles go up every Sunday and having that kick back day to write the majority of one’s verse would be beneficial to a good number of people. It also encourages dropping sooner rather than later. And for those who it doesn’t help or just don’t care etc, it shouldn’t matter to them, as literally the only difference would be having voting end one day earlier in favor of new battles going up.

It could only improve shit IMO and, if we’re being technical, the first day of the week IS Sunday.

then we lose sunday as a voting day, which really helps get a good amount of votes in for the same reasons it would help with dudes writing verses. and we need to encourage voting as much as possible.

no matter what u change it will be good for some and bad for others, so theres no sense in changing the schedule imo.

i just think denying ext's coz theres NO excuse for not being able to write in a 4-day window is wack. some guys work 5-7 days a week and have other responsibilities, it just is what it is.
