Thank you for sharing your opinion. While it's unfortunate you don't agree, this has in fact been discussed ad nauseum.

1) Battle due dates are set for Thursday's, because there's always the expectation (and this has proven true) that many people will be utilizing extensions. Thus, a lot of ppl end up dropping on friday's anyways, and we get 2-2.5 FULL days of voting.

2) If Battles are due Friday's, ppl will still be using extensions and posting Saturday nights, which gives us 24 hours MAX for voting before new battles are set.

3) Friday's are also notorious for a lot of people going out and not being around anyways. We'd prob have even more ext requests with way worse voting issues

4) On the whole for the season, people have been showing and NS's haven;t been rampant like they half been for decades in various leagues across the web.

If Smod's or whoever want to replace me next season (or now), and roll with Friday deadlines then i can accept that. But it's not changing as of now

Well, why not switch up the current Monday-Thursday structure to Wednesday-Saturday instead? It would only increase participation and the overall quality of writing. Still leaves three days for voting, while also giving people a weekend day to both write AND vote.

I'm not available Wednesday mornings to orchestrate matchups and set up battles etc

Furthermore, as ppl have said it shouldn't be difficult to write 6-10 bars throughout the week and show on time. Fuck I presonally key all the time my final bars to ensure I meet the deadline. I think we're over complicating this

Again , Sunday prep and Monday morning execution is much better for my schedule
