i see spoken word and poetry as hiphop still, thats where a lot of kids get my views twisted, i see hiphop as more than a clever beat and a hook, its about the writer, thats what i tried to catch here

Well i dont believe so, if you listen to a song simply for the beat .. go buy an instrumental album. As i see it .. its the lyrics, the writers voice, how its delivered that, how they can capture the emotion ina piece that matters .. which is why i listen to poetry / spoken word ..
