It’s definitely Blue Bayou for me.

Honorable mention to Resin MIC.

On quality alone there’s a much bigger list of greats, but nobody in that tier who was as active for as long, dominated across multiple sites and styles etc. Answer could have, but he peaked too late when text was already on life support.

I actually started in 2002, so I know I came around the time that many of the OG's did. Far from one of the longest guys on here, but definitely so in a relative sense.

I started back on a forum called Davey D's a month before I made it to RapBattles, and ended up getting myself banned from here when I dissed some dude named "adapt" and a couple of mods... LyricAli being one of them.

I believe it's the only reason I stuck to Urbanflows as long as I did.

Oh, and the best to ever do it to me was

yea I think I battled you in 2002-2003 that's when I first found out about vbulletin forums, I came from battling on msn groups also and met point blank from rb when he was still new. he wasn't new but just starting to get decent. I think if it wasn't for forums I would never learned to code because that's the first type of site I had and I had to learn for that.

@Celph Taut Davey D's was one of the original text/hip-hop sites. Most of my favorite text heads came from there. Jugga The Bully, TurrizT, Cashmere The PRO, Stahrr Da Femcee...shit the entire Continuum/Last Dynasty crew.

That was like around 1995-1997, Davey D's was OG. Cashmere The PRO used to roll with CunninLynguists (DJ Kno and Deacon The Villain). I had moved on around 2002 so I wouldn't know any of those guys. Lol.

I dont know bro there was so fire text heads out there that traveled many of sites, john hensely, blue, orc, etc. I think spit was about retired when we came here tho, that could be why. I know after me and him battle he disappeared for ages, came back 1 or 2 times then disappeared for ages again, thats probably why, I wasnt here for it.

He was pretty much done after LLL 9. Blue is definitely up there. Bare Ryu too.
