I remember when the Open Mic section was for writers with talent, who could drop book-calibre topicals, and wanted to help out other writers. There was none of what its like now, with all the 20 word critique and people shitting on what you write because "it aint rap," lol

^^ there's still a handful of people who drop nice stuff on most occasions and leave real feedback. It's just not as common as it was when a lot of the dope heads still wrote and didn't mod shit.
