Magazine - V.01

I didn't realize anyone else had taken a look at my story, or really, beginning of a story, but thanks for reading... I plan on really giving this forum a good look tonight or tomorrow, I think, I've been very bored with all rap-related writing for a while. Thanks for taking the time to write up a mag, I'm sure we all appreciate it... something to read and think about...

stay up every1 I want to do some serious reading for you guys, especially Chris since I know he can write and I only went like two pages into 30-something because I didn't have the time for a real reading session then.

A magazine for short stories? WOW. Didn't see that coming, but I'm glad you did it - I enjoyed the read. Anyway, I haven't been active in here since forever, but with all the new found talent, old school skill, and magazine inspiration floating around in this forum ....eeeehhhh...it's safe to say I'll be a lot more productive. I'm about to unleash an unholy amount of horror stories in here now that this forum gets a little bit of attention paid to it

I'm pondering posting my most recent story, but its like almost 6000 words hmm, I don;t think anyone would want to read that much off a screen, but i think snippets are not the right way. Thoughts?

i might have to start dropping in here and reading some stories again...

though probably wont be for a while busy over the next few weeks...

cool read though, nice to see some activity in here.

Also, would any of the mods mind if i wrote some extra tutorial stuff, because the current stuff is a bit dated and incomplete imo? I can write one about Character to start and I'll just post it and if you want you can sticky it.

That's actually not a bad idea Stryk, go ahead and do that. I'm not exactly sure how Chris feels about it, but it's cool with me.

I just took a pretty sweet class on techniques in short fiction, fun as hell, but lots of good learning.

^I haven't taken one in about 2 years or so. But I enjoyed the one I was in. Wasn't the easiest class in the world, but I agree, it was fun.

I'll have to read some of the new drops tomorrow. I see a lot of new activity.

Okay. I did up a segment of it, there's more I'll have to cover, but it's a start.

Great write, very informative. It'll be a great tool/guide for those newly introduced to the craft of story telling and for those of us who need a reminder from time to time. Anyway, consider it stuck. Oh and...thanks for doing it!

I haven't read it yet, but I just read the top 8-or-so stories in the forum. Hooray for me.

I think some of us really care about storywriting, eh? Awesome. I promise to do some reading I finally have a day off tomorrow, our kitchen manager has been on vacation so I had to do that bullshit like 9 am to 9 pm way too much these past 10 days or so
