Meeks (1-1) Vs. Camarac (1-1)

THERE IS MORE TO BATTLING THAN PUNCHLINES. There are technical elements, and its not even about the use of Multies on their own - ANYONE CAN USE COMPOND SYLLABLE MULTIES - its about MULTI-STRINGS!

What I did here was a six-syllable multi, running throughout the entire verse (However short it may of been). Whens the last time Meeks did that!? He hasnt. Infact, a LOT of you havent. Lol. Thats what makes it so special. You're basically humiliating your opponent by pulling off technical aspects THEY cannot do. I challenge you all, this week, to write a six-syllable multi and carry it through an entire verse (Even one only as short as mine was here ..) Its a LOT harder than you seem to think. And that deserves merit. And ROFL and whoever the kid was that did a line-by-line breakdown of my shit. People like you have destroyed this league, that way of voting uis horrible. How could you even apply a line-by-line breakdown to my verse!? Dumbass. Haha.

And Frame, for what its worth, and dont take this as a bruise to your little ego, I dont think what YOU'RE doing is dope. Not one of you cats. James was over two years ago, yet half the board is STILL writing that exact same fucking way. Flipping corny cliches and plays off half of kids names. And y'all wonder why people are saying text is dead? Its time the rule-book got re-written. The focus of a battle shouldnt be solely on punchlines,

like vaskez said, it's to combine a punch AND multies that make it dope. Not just multies, not just punches.

Its not even about JUST multies and punches combining. You need to exhibit both, BUT dont just write a set up full of multies thinking thats dope. It isnt. You need to pull off technical aspects that your opponent cant do. That in itself is a kind of 'diss' because you're rubbing it in their faces that you're better. You need the multi-strings, the rhyme scheme, yes - the odd punch, but the punches arent the be all and end all of a battle. And now that you seem to be coming round to the idea, hopefully you'll start incorportating that it into your verses. I would as well, like to push everyone to write more than 10 lines a week. That doesnt help ANYONE creatively, and I think a standard 16 isnt much to ask for. Especially if it means people will get a few extra lines to experiment with and try out a scheme or two. But yeah, its good to see you're finally coming round to what Ive been saying. But the challenge is still there, to any of you, try writing a six-syllable multi string and carry it through an entire verse.

I'll gladly reply to all of them if you throw them up in Open Mic or somewhere. :^)

A battle wouldn't be a fucking battle if it wasn't based on punchlines/or disses
why in the fuck would i honestly care about your flow if it had nothing to do with dissing your opponet? I encorage writing that way for making ACTUAL tracks, and flipping the way you write and not just having the same rhyme scheme in every song. But Son tell me where you see niggas talkin about multi-syllables style in a Real life battle, and i've never heard some nigga say "Battling is dead". Your multi-syllable shit could be dope if you were making some kind off a diss, but really its no point of doing it, just to say i can do it as far a battlin goes.

You have nice flow and syllables, thats it. Honestly, on a text site, well, a battling site. The main purpous is to diss your opponent with FRESH disses. THAT IS ALL. There is nothing more to it.. Its on an eezy, whatever, board. DISSES only matter. I can look at your piece and say nice.. but I'd never say, "shit, that boy killed him". I'd say, "shit, that boy killed IT". All in all you need to put up a decent diss aswell. If you can't do that, you're just gonna get beat, week in week out. This isn't a phenomenon, rappers have been doing shit liek this for years.. but IN SONGS. Keep it for that my friend.
