This was a dope battle. I'm sort of short on time, so I can't really go too indepth into each piece. Basically, it came down to which one was more technically sound, and which one I enjoyed reading more.
Spoken- Your piece was really gool. You had a really strong, and personal-feeling voice which carried through the piece. Generally speaking, your piece felt extremely genuine. Your word choice wasn't fantastic, but fit the work well, and was effective throughout. Flow was nice, although a few lines were a LITTLE bit choppy, although, that isn't a huge issue. I felt you hit the topic very nicely, and really liked your piece, as for some reason, it hit me on a personal level...it really immersed me.
Bounce: I liked your piece alot too. The voice was also quite strong throughout. You had better word choice, and better flow in your piece. I also felt as though you hit your topic very well, and liked the piece. I don't know though..for some reason, I just couldn't really get immersed in your piece. Although yours was far more emotional-reading than Spoken's, It just didn't connect with me. It almost seemed as though you were trying too hard to make it heart-touching.
So, I gotta say...

spoken, by far this is the best piece i've read from you. i never seen you post something so moving as this one. the style you came with was just raw. you pointed out things, subjects, just whatever and it all bonded together so well. what i'm really impressed with is your choice of words. you said the right things, but what most writers can't usually do, is say it the right way and you did. i read along perfectly with your piece. the flow was to me was key. even though basic, it just came together really well. awesome job. i did expect something great from you, and you exceeded my expectations even.
bounce, just flat out tremendous. great content within your piece. this was talent-packed if you know what i mean. you just showed your skills for writing in just about every line. the concept to the whole piece was pretty interesting. it had me eager to read on and on. i never lost a bit of interest. the style of flow was well done. though, at 1st i was kind of looking forward to a irratic flow, just like here and there, but you were consistant with the flow you had, and i adapted and enjoyed more. truelly, there isn't anything i can pick apart from your piece.
well, if there's ever been a match that's been so hard to vote on, it's this one. seriously, the best topical match i've read in a long....long...long time. i wish you guys could both share the title because you both did so well throughout the whole season and just did fantastic in this final round.
but, for the style, maybe more lines that stood out more than the other, and overall enjoyment, i'm going to have to go with the piece that moved me the best. and that, to me was spoken. it was a really tough decision, but just the way spoken came across with this topic was great. so did bounce, i just fell in love with spoken's a bit more.

i thought spoken took this... he had a tremendously good peaice probably one of the best peices ive read from him i really thought the imagery and everything was pulled togerther beautifully. Flow fell off a little bit but it was good mostly... Bounce i just didint feel your peice as much but i still thought it was good.
For a final this was very impressive i thought both put in a good effort and put alot into this peice. Great job you guys it was a good read by both of you i just thought that he took it nice job.

i think bounce takes this in an extremely close and utterly dope battle. this is the best thing i have read since i have been here. you two both took completely different and creative angles on this and both hit it right on the head. simply amazing. i hate to choose becuase as i stated before it was so close and both were so good.
spoken- i like your take on the topic. i felt you hit it very well. the rhyme scheme was very good. i liked how you tied everything together at the end. it made me think. some of your lines seemed a little useless to be honest. i felt had you taken a couple out it would have made this a better piece. that is the only thing that i think could be improved. imo. very good verse and very nice ending
bounce- the rhyme scheme was not something i thought i would see. kinda a risky move. but i think it paid off. i loved how yours read. and on the contrary to sublime d i really felt a lot of emotion in your piece. in fact i think that was the thing that edged this out for you. i also like how you had more of a story line. it kept me wanting to move forward more then spokens. spoken was kinda going from one idea to the other while you stayed home more. nothing agianst either writer but this is my preference. technically everything seemed sound to me.
great job from both of you. i just cant stress that enough. very close, very good. but my vote goes to bounce
