Be as descriptive as possible, use something other than a conventioanl aa ab rhyme scheme. I suggest a solid use of metaphor, since this is a short drop. The shorter the drop, the more impact every thing has to have. You goal is to pack volumes into each line, not syllable wise, but metaphoricaaly. try to keep your meter consistant, and include sporadic splashes of assonance by strategic use of alliteration. If these terms are foreign to you, spend some time researching them a bit. Try to approach the concept with the most creative angle you can come with. In a tournament this component is critical, if you want to a force on the topical scene on RB or the net in general, you have to work on this. Pay close attention to your word choice, diction is fundmental in a proper peice of prose, keep your writters voice strong by matering these components. Complexity comes with time and practice, a complex rhyme scheme is not the easiest thing to pull off, but once you a at the level, it only adds to your aresenal. This is an art, treat it like one and you can never go wrong... Get at me if you need direction or help on this excercise...
