I don’t care about the win so I’m leaving my shit up. You have two options here:

1) Drop 30 and make it an instant HOF battle.

2) Drop 24 and request a DQ but I don’t think @King or @Blue Bayou will agree with your pussy ass attempt to get over with a cheap win after how lenient I’ve been overall and everyone waiting two weeks to see us drop.

I disagree with the 1st part about collusion to centralize talent. I still remember back when the commissioner veto’d New Orleans trading CP3 to the Lakers to play with Kobe, which literally directly contradicts that theory.

Contracts are also structured in a format that heavily financially incentivizes a player to eventually sign multi-year deals with the same team that drafts them. Star players have to leave a lot of money on the table if they wanna dip to another team after their rookie deal. The drafting team is permitted to pay them more than anyone else. This is done in an effort to keep the playing field as even as possible and help lottery pick teams retain and develop their talent. That’s why you see small market teams keep superstars for years after drafting them, i.e. Anthony Davis in NO and Giannis in MIL and even KD in OKC before he left after like 9 years or w/e.

i could be partially wrong about the overall trend of talent being centralized. but you're nit picking only a couple names. if you see it from my side of things and look at the 6-8 major NBA teams in comparison to the rest of the league. and what of the suspensions and inconsistent refs? does any one think the new school rules makes for a better game? or do the new rules just make for a game that is more easier to manipulate.

i have no evidence or will to argue this any further. but i would suggest you pay close attention to the NBA finals. watch to see which game allows for rougher defense.

and if that's not reason enough not to care, how about the fact that's its grown men playing with a ball.

we're not children that need blind entertainment. but playing basket ball is another thing altogether.

I was just listing the best examples that came to mind. Cousins in shit hole Sac for 7 years or Dame still playing in Portland. Kemba in Charlotte. The examples are endless. What more can the league do on top of giving the worst records the highest draft picks and then putting significant financial incentives in place to increase the likelihood of said draft picks sticking around for the long-term?

FYI that netcees league having 3 battles open for votes and 8 with extensions til tonight out of 11 and 5 out of 7 here having extensions is a prime example for why I said shit should just be due on Friday nights with no extensions across the board. That way people have a clear and defined deadline that they can’t manipulate. You either post by Friday or you 100% fuckin lose period. It’s such a waste of time and energy people asking and granting them and the mods keeping up on what’s what in each battle. Beyond pointless.
