Well hell HAS frozen over
Elton John goes hip-hop!
Elton John is planning to record a hip-hop album.
And the British legend hopes to collaborate with the major stars including Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.
He told Rolling Stone: "I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats. It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don't know until you try."
He added: "I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop, Kanye, Eminem and just see what happens."
Elton has worked with Eminem before - he performed the rapper's chart-topper 'Stan' at the 2001 Grammy awards.
Eminem was also responsible for remixing the late Tupac Shakur's 'Ghetto Gospel', adding a chorus of Elton John's Seventies classic 'Indian Sunset'. The song spent three weeks at the top of the UK charts in 2005.
Elton John's latest album, 'The Captain and the Kid', is released later this year. It's a sequel to his 1975 classic 'Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy'.
whot he fuck knows....maybe it could be pulled off
