The Journey Begins...
I feel as if my whole life is wasted, used up on a whim.
Bound in an endless circle, my patience becoming thin.
Can't seem to do anything worthwhile, with or without it.
Tried to grab life by the horns but kicked me off soon as I mounted.
I'm poutin' but powerless to even make my life worthwhile anymore.
I spend my nights in a druken stupor bored, to wake up tired and sore.
My situation is poor, I live like i'm poverty stricken with bad health.
I'd love to join a charity or youth club, but who can I help..........?
It's hard to tell others not to do it, when I can't even help myself.
So as of today, no more excuses and lies, I'm creating a new ME!..
Remove the shackles that bind, to set myself once again......FREE!
Lead myself down a different path, a new road to acheive my goals.
Ascend to a new height, by recreating myself in prose, renewing my soul.
Thats exactly what i'll do, i'll rearrange myself, rebuild, reinvent my aura.
Leave this old life behind, and begin with a new order, how's that for ya?
The Journey Continues...
Life is moving so fast! I never thought that this could be!
The things I used to fantasize about, are now part of reality.
My life's now filled with balanced beams, my pillars of success.
God giveth and he taketh, but this man he truly hath blessed.
Yet obsessed with the path I chose, similar to pacting sale to my soul.
Lucifer's laughing off his head, while i'm spinning out of control...oh no!
I cannot continue, surviving and thriving in this manor, I need redemption.
Is this the life I chose? Full of servitude over pension without expemption?
I'm scorched, from being torched so long, this road seems neverending.
I need some change of pace from all of this time I seem to be spending.
I'm rendered helpless, still selfish just as I was previously as you can see
Guess it doesn't matter how far I get, there's no diff., I still only think of me.
The Journey Ends...
Soon my soul will rest where it belongs, firm and strong in a spot to lay.
Whilst my body will simply, limply lie below ground, left to rot and decay.
The Reaper shall have his way, as he has with all beings before myself.
Those who have cherished life or shunned it, either way judgment is dealt.
There's no way to tell the right path from the wrong, just pick and choose.
You win some, you don't others, but the end is still just, since we all lose.
We are only here for so long, so our lives are ours to embrace and hold.
They say that your past follows you always, but our futures cannot be told.
It's a shame the way we take life for granted, although it's all that we know.
Just remember that life is serious but it's okay to break and take it slow.
Do so, because life is short and you want to enjoy every breathing moment.
Beneath all the lies and deciet, Life is yours, if only you'd chose to own it.
