kids grow up with big dreams the size of masses not obtained
but the parents shut them down with the hope of being tamed
telling them to have what they dont
but they got the world at the hand but the wont
for the one day staring at the window with the idea of kicking schools
stepin on the stages of life picking up the mic
open there brain for the hop[e of being tight
there feat fail every step from weigh to bear from the soul
but even a diamond will come from the bitterest coal
hands shaking cuz they know what they want without a parents sermon
because in the heart the ice breaks and there determind
to step up and lead the team from powers beyond
to control the powers and continue to teach
the urban life not right stranded with drugs to steal the mind
for ever dollar the make it makes an easy grind
the millstone stops turning its easy to breath
cuz the curtain opens and you succeed
