Street lights shining, as im headin back home…
Keeping my eyes forward, cuz im walkin alone…
Sidewalk empty, fuck, Its already 2 in the morning…
Silence all around me, shoulda took this as a warning…
Workin all night, fuck and im sleepin all day…
Takin the night shift, just so I get better pay…
Im walkin faster, the sounds of footsteps follow…
I look all around, but the streets still hollow…
I hear a faint scream, about a few blocks down…
Thinking to myself “fuck, what do I do now?”…
But I keep steppin, tryin to keep my focus ahead…
Try to forget, but im hearing something else said…
The scream gets louder, as my footsteps fade…
Tryna keep quiet, try to listen to what they say…
“Bitch I oughta blow ya head off for what you did”
“No please tommy don’t, what about the kid!”
“fuck him, ill kill him too, he still only young,
I’ll put the gun to his mouth, blow a hole thru his lung”
“Tommy fuck off, kill me, let him live!!
Hes only 3 years old fuck tommy, HES A KID!”
I thought to myself, “fuck I gotta save this girl”
Cuz if I don’t act quick, this thug gunna end her world.
And just as I lifted my head, I heard it end…
Bang..bang…bang…shes full of 3 pieces of lead…
My heart stopped, I got weak, but damn I couldn’t move
This thug had a gun, what if he shot at me too?
I ran around the corner, waitin for that wacko to leave…
But thinking to myself, “man, this cat cant get free”
What was I to do, I was weaponless, I wasn’t armed…
But this thug couldn’t get away un-harmed!...
I saw him leave, he looked both ways and ran.
My heart felt as it was sinkin in quick sand…
He was out of sight, I ran quickly to help the girl
But what I saw next, just about stopped my world.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, words couldn’t describe
As I grabbed the girl in my arms, and bowed down beside
Fuck…it was my own girlfriend…having an affair…
MAN I didn’t have a fuckin clue, I wasn’t aware….
Why hasn’t she told me? Why did I deserve this…
Thinking to myself what I’d do with my last wish…
Id bring her back…id ask her what the fuck went wrong
She told me she loved me, and only me for so long
She was hidin a kid, she was fucking hiding a guy…
I thought we were fucking more…then just a fucking lie
I let her go, I turned around and ran back home…
Whether I deserved this or not…now I was alone…

word not bad man, liked a few lines here and there and the flow was cool and shit, structure wasnt bad an all, the piece as a whole had its moments and shit, not much else to say, pretty cool read man. maybe the only complaint is the text color you used, that shit hurts my eyes lol.. but other than that keep dropping man. word up.. the topic was cliche though, so i guess next time write about something more original i guess.
