I wake up to see moisture on my window, Im excited for the celebration
I scurry to my parents room, there gone, the sight left me in fascination
Im awed, I never thought that this would be the year they would be up 1st
Little did my intellect know, that my family was going to be in for the worst
I rush down the stairs, to see nothing in my stocking but a cheap novelty
I never thought that all these years of my mother saying its going be tight
.That this year would be the time were stuck with poverty

Been a horrific week, my relatives still havent sent any money of some-sort
My Parents breaking down into tears on the phone with our local bank
.asking for financial support

I guess all these years Ive been taking advantage of Christmas were gone
But when I was living it up, I forgot Christmas was for giving and all the
.Taking was wrong
Now that I noticed this Sin I committed, I will always have to live in regret
I never thought of it besides Gifts, which sent Jesus a bunch of disrespect

Why would I do this? Ive had the best life I could live but now, I cant sleep
Due to my power work, and I cant stand the fact of sleeping on dirty sheets

Im trapped in a heart breaking prison, from my life being shady and abrupt
But the worse part was having to watch my parents struggle to over come

A straightforward topic with some nice imagery to back it up. Your vocab was at a decent level which made this easy to read. Some multi's would've been good to see. This is one of the better pieces i've read today, just focus on building up your imagery and keep coming with good topics and you'll stand out here.
