Battle everlasting

A celestial hierarchy of angels rain down upon a field of anarchy.
Ceremonial resurrections & territorial soul struggles
collide two sides in fury.

Called by the beast in the night, is he that lay feast
to the burdened sheep.
The keeper of weak grows weary & knows
what evil seeks.

Sent are nine heavenly soldiers pure and simply the boldest
Of whom are much stronger than youth
& wiser than the oldest.

They dispute the vultures' pursuit, drawing closer to the plateau,
Where murky shadows of demons slay there pray
like bewildered heathens.

Bewitched from a dense mist in which
a naked eyes sight of this, is to not exist.
Throughout seasons battles take toll of life
by our choice & sacrifice,

And amidst the strife & heat of battle,
it is human beings that they seek,
None other than the most bitter & the sweet.
