strange to see us all follow after the same thing,
idolizing hoes and AK shots at shootin ranges

deliverin messages to youth..releasin false images
declarin how rich & fame is..not knowin how grim it is
sayin 'nigga' on each track despite how offensive it is
then get offended when white people say it in the same sentences
its delirious...im curious on how this culture survived
with so many weapons im surprised on how it stays alive
its pitiful the way people try to take this shit literally
rappers usually dont mean it when they spit about killin-a-g
but its a thriller to hear these street dreams in our ears,
tattooed tears, with death and fear lookin in a mirror
someday we'll find out why this is what we try to promote
so take notes--poetry n flow keeps this hip hop boat afloat

but they create tracks takin time just so their album flops
they spit about diamonds, money, and payin their hoes
then they're broke, trapped in surviving by running dope
its a joke, losin everything they ever wrote n spoke
they're life's a hoax, left on the streets without a hope
they've provoked mishaps..right now they're without meaning
broker than before now livin amongst the heartless grieving
leaving behind hip-hop like its a hopeless seed
decieving people, exchanging their hearts with beef n greed
so we emcee's need to quit with the street-wars and shootouts
cause we've mistaken what the culture of hip-hop is all about..
