Red Spirals

Travel-worn lust without luster
The bow pretty pink in the glimmer
Went down the well when I fucked her
To the spoils goes the winner.

Tangerine flicker on the lips
The Crown of Thorns is gone
And we forget the bickerin' shit
Penetrate the Cloud she's on.
Caress her like the old drink.
Sweat balmy on the conjunction.
Take a little moment to think.
Perfect animalistic functions.

Slow descent into alcoholism.
You make me turn, turn again.
Cleft and my heart schisms.
The new beginning starts when?
Martyr of springtime
Romantic wielding tears.
I can read between the red lines.
The yellow tape is what I fear.

Mantra of the neutered heart.
The drain looks so appealing.
What we once had was art.
Staggered daggers leave me reeling.
Tho once bonded severely.
The bloom has withered into stone.
I can't stand you near me.
This is no longer our home.

It must end.

Well, my favorite part would be actually, oddly enough.. the first stanza, and the last.. i dont know why, that first like just really drew me in which i thought was really cool, dont see that too often, and the ending just closed it out really good.

Plus that little "it must end" tossed in there really gave it the coup de tat if you will, it was very good, thanks for showing it to me

This whole piece was great. I really loved reading this alot. The imagery was real nice and just stuck in my mind & played around your words. The rhyme scheme was great and it suited this piece perfectly.

the emotion was quite nicely juiced in this....
i mean like the other dude said the first stanza really draws you in to the piece
and makes you want to read it even more....
the ending was quite nice also i loved how you ended it smoothly
and made everything make since...since alotta other people be having some weird
ass endings lol but that wasnt the case here this was a nice read
way to rep the fam...

I dont normally read poetry, but damn, this shit was nice. I love the imagery in it, at first I was like, ehh, then I realized what it was about, and it was real creative. Real nice, good concept, overall great piece. Worth the read.
