Let me ask a question.......

You ever felt like you we're up against the odds
Face to face, with bullets flying at the speed of hot rods
It's like we're walkin' on the pavement of a danger zone
When I go prone to dying, with the guns at the dome
Runnin' like Pac, dying to live for the future and now
Theres' a route to happiness, tell me where and how;
I'll install this state of mind into everyday affairs
But simple structures only boosts what ears don't wanna hear
It's safe to say I've lived behind a wide body of fire
The depths of self are now below, no shot to get higher
At least now I'll make an effort in a chance to pursue
The certain values that it takes to make a solid truth
To whatever is the answer to the daily questions
To how we gon' come together, when we're second guessing;
Ourselves, with the weapon that's known for culure-slaying
Inside the haven of the hopeless, for the true taking
Or so armed robbery for what we've built together
But with death, comes the future of our people severed
Here's where the story ends, and all's said and done
With all of us now extinct, leaving only one
That very one's the very soul with that very gun

I just wish that i had learned it sooner than later............

good flow nice concept fine internal rhyming staying focused on the point
i diidnt like some of the simple rhymes, but am still feeling this joint
it was kinder poetic in places and also packed with metaphoric
phrases and aliteration always adds another level to the shit you spit
i liked the begining but wasnt realy feeling the last two lines
this shit is knder dope tho homie so head keep kicking the rhymes
