Contemplation….
Darkness is all I see, all that recollects in my memory
Heartless in what I be, forever searching for a remedy
Trapped in myself without help of a hero saving me
Warped by the visions that are constantly escaping me
Trying to recollect….
My past is a haze, a memory of past days set ablaze
Now the embers of my life are throwing deadly ash in my face
I can’t breathe; my forgotten history is a mystery to me
& people try & relight the fire within me, bring back reality
But that’s impossible, my minds wiped clean of these sins
Never recollect of this monster of tales that lie within
My intellect ceased all knowledge, I must be blind
Now sense is trying to acknowledge, the life I’ve left behind
The Common Sense Seeps Back Within …
A memory bank embarked in a voyage to find & collect
The hooligan’s life that I fail to recollect
In retrospect, I remember a state of vexation & tribulation
Always forced into a frame of mind while I rot in stagnation
Thoughts flood back like the tide to where they used hide
Deep in the depths of my mind, behind they will find
A way to crawl back, will power that I lacked
& the energy I felt from fighting at a match….
A Hooligan’s Life Floods Back & begins
Once more …
Now my memory’s back, & now I’m out of coma
Happiness back on track, living from the gift of a kidney donor
See, I was bashed up, trashed up, A brick knocked me unconscious
& in my weakened state the opposition went bonkers
I was kicked spat on, lifeless, friends thought it was the end
But In the life of a hooligan, It was just another weekend…
