Writer's Block
Writer's Block
Emotionally, my mind has deceased into defended times
No longer am I able to paint my pictures with rhymes
Thoughts betrayed me, and left me in darkened shadows alone
Muted by my abstract thoughts, never again shall my poetry be known
Unable to predict the topic of my next imaginable piece
Until I complete my poetry, my soul will never be at ease
Between lies, I try to write out my next emotional discussion
Troubles unknown to man accompany me, without poetry I am nothin’
Memories divide myself, into difference emotions
Swept beneath my feet, By the poetic current on the ocean
Writing is my way to live, to deal with all the stress and all the pain
I can’t think, my mind has corrupted, will I ever write again?

A short preview of what i am accepting now. Currently i have been having a major writer's block (unable to write poetry). So i tried to write a poem about having writer's block, and how it affects my life and others around me. It is short, but i tried to fill it with as much emotion as i could.
Please take the time to read this piece, for i think any poet can somehow relate to it.

OK Bloomquist this was abover average but not great. You came with excellent vocab and I can see you tryin to go in depth on the reasons that you have writers block....this piece was kinda of short...which is OK....if you really do have writers block, then writing short pieces ike this will help you gewt over it quicker...a pretty good piece man...keep it up

Yeah, This was good. I think we've all gotten writers block on too many occasions. Personally, I feel like I always got writers block, with occasional flights of fancy that I can write down. And the best way to struggle out of it is to do what you did and force yourself to write about something. And if you can't write about anything, the great thing about poetry is you can write about how you can't write about anything.
Much respect for being able to pull it off. I know my poems about writers block tend to suck gigantic cock. This peice doesn't.
