Its Christmas time you’ll find people enthralled in life
Merry thoughts and families sitting round the table, father taking the knife
Cutting and slice into the turkey, filling the plates with the festive aroma
Steamed veg, gravy, Christmas crackers.. Yet another year older….

Fuck Christmas it’s a commercial wish list, what is this?
Its giving money to the wealthy, the fats cats with tight fists
It’s all fucked!.. The globe’s stuck, struck with propaganda
Indirect slander that puts ya hand in ya pocket… cos it says so on he calendar!

Christmas eve, children chatting, staying up late.. See if any thing will happen
Excitement building, distant cries of children laughing
Parents saying... “Go to sleep, or he wont come”
Leaving a carrot, mince pie and a glass of sherry, secretly consumed by mum!

Im a modern day scrooge, I tell the kids that Santa don’t exist
Ya family gets the gifts, ‘really’ do you think down the chimney hes gonna fit?
Hes a fat git, there aint no reindeers or sleigh he steers
He Don’t live at the north pole, hes put on the payroll when the time nears!

Ya family visits, aunties and uncles ya haven’t seen all year
Bearing gifts, and best wishes.. lil kids faces, bringing grandma’s a tear
Its clear love is in the air, yuletide flavour floating everywhere
Not a care in the world, it stops for a day, everyone willing to share!

I wish relatives wouldn’t visit, they bore me shitless
I prefer my local, better banter, so they got my business
And at Christmas I don’t buy presents and I don’t send cards
It’s a mugs game which I refrain from, so i leave it to the retards!……..
