Basically you can only get a good free one if you get it off torrents which is illegal, but people do it, probably 80%(just taking a guess there) of people with fl studios got it illegaly Basicaly for free you cant do much though legally
Reaper is free and it has more features than anyone on this board actually needs. There are some others too.
